Oh I remember Shiprock when we were there. I thought it was so cool just sticking up like that. Great shots
Hi Gina! Wow. So beautiful. It must be impressive to see up close.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you and yours a Happy-Safe-Healthy New Year. Lisa

Happy New Year! i have yet to go there. part of my trip when i visit the 4corners this next year. thanks for sharing!~
MY friend want me to visit her in Colorado, was never there.Maybe someday soon. Love your shots!

Shiprock looks huge in the picture so I cannot fathom how big it must be to see it in person.
Very nice, made me wish I was in the desert right now. ;)
Happy New Year!
Cool shots getting closer and closer and then there is the ship sailing across the land! Reminds me a bit of Mount Ranier in Washington State. You see it for miles and when you get up to it. It is sitting on top of you as you look straight up and it is still miles away. Like Wow!

I love the way you showed all the different view points of Shiprock and how each position creates a unique feeling to what is being focused upon.
Wow, that is an amazing formation! It's so big and massive looking. I can't believe how far away it can be seen! Whoa!
Beautiful photos.
I hope you have a wonderful New Year as well....

Amazing formation - it does look like a ship out in the landscape.
I've been there Gina! We went to Bandolier NP then on to the Canyon de Chelley, it's near there as far as I remember, must've been nine years ago since I've been. I seem to remember it's near or on the way to Kayenta. I've got a few photos of it, yours are very impressive! Nice to see a place I've actually been to! Jeannette xx
Awesome! We have a formation near us called shiprock but it's not that big I'm sure.
That is so cool Gina! I bet that was really something to see live! Sorry I haven't been by, I'll catch up sooner or later - the linking list will be up today. Hope your holidays were wonderful :-)
That is too cool!! Great choice! :)
I'd like to go here, too. Some of those of the shiprock looked like a shadow, didn't it? Wonderful shots.
Wonderful series of photos. Thanks for that.
