here's one from my archives taken at reelfoot lake state park in nw tn....these 6 month old babies had been rescued from a chimney at the tender age of 3 months. they were being cared for at the wildlife reserve until old enough to be released back in the wild. they were housed in a large kennel and fed raw meat extended to them on a long stick to minimize human contact. they were swaying and hissing in unison as we looked on telling us menancingly to 'scram.'

it's been a long time since i've had little ones in the house 24/7, and i had forgotten just how demanding they could be. my lil 8 month old pup has reminded me. he has become my 3rd child. lol he tires of his toys quickly, loves to chew on what i don't wish him to, gets into what's forbidden, demands attention and affection. :) and he has brought much joy to our home.







we have been raising the windows some enjoying the cooler temps, and this has become one of quincy's favorite spots. i've wondered if it might be he's showing the 2 outside dogs who the real prince is. anyway....this pic reminds me of a song my mom use to sing to us as children...

there is a lot i like about blogger, but i'm not finding it easy to make entries or post gadgets that aren't on the blogger list. i haven't played with it like i would like due to a big test that i was studying for, and that was completed yesterday...yay!! :) i'm uploading my pix from my computer and they are small, which i don't really like. but anyway...
