Awesome Gina!
I just love that second photo - they really look like one turned to the other and started a conversation.

Hi Gina, I love your prairie dog photos! Did you know that these guys are very important to the survival of many other species, including the Burrowing Owl? See my post on this beautiful owl here: http://www.thebirdersreport.com/wild-birds/bird-sightings/burrowing-owls-will-they-survive-in-north-america
All of your photos are beautiful!
these are so cute!! my favorite was the second one! the two of them seemed like they were trying to solve all the problems of the world; they looked so serious like they were carrying on a very weighted conversation.
I think you/hubby took a great vacation to just take your time to get out and explore without hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry; good for you :)
betty
The shots are all great. I like the last one especially.
Great pictures!
Thanks for sharing your Marmot Photos. They are quite fun and curious creatures. They always remind me of hiberation.
Beautiful Gina! They really did look like they were talking about you in that second shot! Lucky you aren't paranoid! I saw lots of prairie dogs in Colorado and Wyoming, they're very entertaining to watch! Jeannette xx
What a great CC series, these little guys are just adorable, and great shots! :-)
These are excellent close ups os a critter I definitely don't get here.
Hi Gina! This must have been a fun experience. They are cute little critters. Lisa
