this challenge was suggested by Nancy, "of Nancy Luvs Pix....Two Halves Don't Make a Whole. Nancy explains the concept thus: Photograph two different shots of the same type of thing (like a tree). Crop out half of each and make two separate photos. Put them side by side, or one on top of the other...so that they look ALMOST like one photo...but not quite. It sounds more complicated than it needs to be. It could be really fun and who knows what you could come up with here!"
this was actually more difficult than i had thought when i signed up for this assignment....i even considered backing out, but after several attempts with different pix, i finally came up with this. thanks nancy for a fun and interesting challenge! :) to see what other robins have come up with, click here.

Gina...
This is brilliant! (kinda like Carly's first photo). Somehow, I'm always drawn to these types of trees. I really like this entry.

(PS You're welcome)
Oh, this is excellent. Great tree, and you did a great job with the alignment. Bit what really makes it is the seasonal contrast between the halves, the black and white winter world versus the color of summer. Well done indeed!
I'm glad you didn't back out - I like your result! Great, fun creation!
This is awesome! Definitely something I'll have to try...great photoshopping! And I LOVE the tree :-)
I'm glad you persevered with it Gina, this one turned out great! I love trees with or without leaves! Jeannette xx

Ahhh the Wonderful Tree! Cool:)
Ann:)
I love this! It's perfect. Love the seasons, the tree and the contrast. Well done.
Love this picture. It's almost as if your watching the seasons change with the same tree, only within the same photo. Wicked cool turnout. (Hugs)Indigo
