this lil guy was quite fun to watch scurrying around in the sand and quite easy to photograph. i can't tell you how long i've sat with camera posed just waiting for one of these guys to poke their heads back out of the hole i'd seen them duck in. :) to post your own critter or just veiw others...check out Camera Critters Meme.

That's a great get! I've never been able to "catch" one...and you did so well...
It is fun to watch them walk. They keep going sideways making me wonder where they are actually heading to.
I love this little guy! He reminds me of the crab in the Spongebob cartoons :)
